Terms & Conditions

1) Copyright

The content of this site and all featured materials (whether authored or arranged by any member of our staff team, or by guests) are copyright protected by international law.

Songs and other musical items are also governed by the Performing Rights Society (PRS), who collect royalties in respect of any public performance of the music. It is your legal responsibility, if performing such items, to complete the relevant PRS return paperwork.

You must not copy, adapt or translate into another language any of the written content we have created, by any means, save for certain items marked ‘School photocopying permitted’. In such cases the full terms shown in print within the publication, must be observed to the letter. You must not re-sell or re-distribute any of our content or products.

It is required that you seek our written permission if you wish to share sound tracks or films with any other person or organisation. We reserve the right to charge for such sharing.

Rhythmic Learning activities, games & related materials have been developed over a period of 20 years. We take rigorous measures to ensure our intellectual property rights are fully respected. Further details are available on the copyright page.

2) Child Protection

Over the 20 year period we have worked with thousands of young people, all the way from age 2 to 18. It is valuable when we are able to share their activities, their responses, changes to their characters or abilities with customers, however the over-riding concern will always be to protect the identity of such children.

We will never publish in print, on a web page or in social media details that could allow a child to be identified. It is specifically for this reason that we restrict most of our data and films to the private Professionals area. We will only grant access to approved school or nursery-based email addresses. Our vigilance in this respect is unwavering. Any hint of suspicion in relation to a user will lead to immediate barring.

3) Adult Information Protection (GDPR)

This website and its owners take a proactive approach to user privacy and ensure the necessary steps are taken to protect the privacy of its users throughout their visiting experience. This website complies to all UK national laws and requirements for user privacy.

In compliance with UK Spam Laws and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 subscribers are given the opportunity to un-subscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email campaign. If an automated un-subscription system is unavailable clear instructions on how to un-subscribe will by detailed instead.

A benefit of starting a new operation at this time (spring 2018) is that we are ahead of the game, in terms of new GDPR regulations. We have set up an entirely new, clean computer, tablet and phone. We have sifted through past documents and content on old computers in order to check with previous colleagues, students and families that they are happy to receive our half termly Newsletters/ Blogs and – from time to time – other notifications, such as an invitation to our launch event.

Users should therefore note they click on external links at their own risk and this website and its owners cannot be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links mentioned.

Users are advised to use social media platforms wisely and communicate / engage upon them with due care and caution in regard to their own privacy and personal details. This website nor its owners will never ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms and encourage users wishing to discuss sensitive details to contact them through primary communication channels such as by telephone or email.

This website may use social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages to the social media platform in question. Users are advised before using such social sharing buttons that they do so at their own discretion and note that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page respectively through your social media platform account.

Finally, we are indebted to the authors of royalty free resources, whose images we have used. Within the relevant publications you will find acknowledgments of these sources and hyperlinks. If any have been missed or mistakes have been made we apologise, please contact us and we will rectify whatever is wrong. Thank you.
